Debabrata is a renowned Visual Storyteller, Canvas Dancer, Handloom Designer, theater actor and Odissi Dancer who has been recognised as one of the 50 Top Young Artistes of India. Recently received rastriya kala snaman for his unique style work by government of India. Awarded by Dr kiran bedi.recently received asia excellence award from Tedx Singapore . Debabrata is renowned for live-painting performances where he interprets the styles and emotions of musicians and dancers on stage. He combines this with his unique dance movements, often painting with his feet, earning him the moniker "Canvas Dancer."
Honoured by President of India Drupadi Murmu ji . And mentioned by prime minister Narendra Bhai Modiji in Mannki Baat. Debabrata pursued his passion academically, earning a Master’s degree in Product Design. This education solidified his expertise in creating functional and aesthetically compelling designs, propelling him into a career that seamlessly merges art and functionality.
As a performer, Debabrata has taken the global stage multiple times, captivating audiences with his graceful Odissi dance performances. His artistry has led to collaborations with some of the most revered names in Indian classical arts, including Padma Vibhushan Guru Sonal Mansingh, Padma Vibhushan Guru Birju Maharaj, Padmashree Smt. Hema Malini, Padmashri Usha Uttam , PadmaVibhushan Asha Bhosle, Padmashree Guru Ileana Cirtist, Padmashree Dr. Pt. Puru Dadheech, Guru Sujata Mohapatra, Sandip Soparrkar, Sunita Bhuyan, and Padmashree Kailash Kher. These collaborations underline his stature in the Indian classical arts community and his ability to bridge diverse artistic expressions.
He has performed on many stages across India, and has presented his talk regarding "Fine art in Natyasastra" at various universities and institutions across India, USA, London, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore .
